Tasmania Hinterland: Road Trip
On a road trip through Tasmania, we explored the eastern part, journeying from Hobart to Launceston and then west to Cradle Mountain National Park. Passing historic towns like New Norfolk and Hamilton, we encountered convict-era buildings and learned about the region’s Polish immigrant history. Our destination, Pumphouse Point, provided a unique retreat by the glacial Lake St. Clair.
Bruny Island Food Tour
In January 2020, a day safari to Bruny Island provided a diverse experience. Exploring North and South Bruny, highlights included oyster tasting, a cheese and beer experience, and a visit to the historic Cape Bruny Lighthouse.
