In the medieval town of Bhaktapur in central Nepal there was a toilet door in an inn. Amongst the usual suspects of language describing what was beyond the portal was a small sign that said “Leithreas”. This is Gaelic – the indigenous language of Ireland – where John hails from!
Karen and the Waves!!
During a wildlife tour in the Wheatbelt, a kangaroo and various animals were spotted on the road. The duo visited Wave Rock, a notable rock formation, and Hippo’s Yawn. After a scenic drive, they reached York and secured unexpected accommodation at Spooky Hall, highlighting the adventure-filled day.
