Weekly Photo Challenge: Gone but not forgotten

I close my eyes
Only for a moment and the moment’s gone
All my dreams
Pass before my eyes with curiosity

Today was a very sad day. After over 2 years of companionship and friendship it was time to say goodbye to The Hulklings…. my bulky green running shoes!

Seen better days!

A cursory look through our photo album does not fail to show these beauties in all their glory!

A short list of their achievements would be:

  • Visiting the Taj Mahal and Hampi Temple Complex in India
  • Running on the running track in the Berlin Olympic Stadium
  • Climbing Poon Hill in Nepal
  • Scrambling over the Great Wall of China
  • Discovering Temples at Angkor Wat
  • Running away from manky dogs all over Asia

    • As well as thousands of kilometres worth of walking on our journey.

    Gone but definately not forgotten!

        Had we a garden we would! Instead they are gone to Runners Heaven, where every run is a PB!
