In September 2022, we took our son on a 7-week trip to Europe, stopping in Doha. Packing was a challenge with all the snacks and baby essentials. Doha amazed us with its modern vibe and World Cup energy. We explored cool spots like the Old Port and the National Museum, enjoying our brief but fun stopover.

Port Stephens
In March 2021, the family embarked on their first road trip with their 5-month-old son to Port Stephens, 160km north of Sydney. They stayed at The Anchorage in Corlette Point, enjoying suite rooms and exploring the region, despite unpredictable weather. Highlights included Birubi Point, Stockton Beach, and a visit to the Murrays Brewing Co. The trip was punctuated by stormy weather and road closures, necessitating an extended stay.

North by NorthEast
After months of lockdown, a road trip to Bellingen, New South Wales brought newfound freedom. Stopping in Port Macquarie, a penal settlement turned seaside town, and then reaching the hippie haven of Bellingen, they indulged in Middle Eastern cuisine and explored the Dorrigo National Park. Heading back, they encountered history at South West Rocks before returning home.
