Nepal Destinations

The Blue lines represent Bus Trips, while the Orange line is the flight we took from Kathmandu to Pokhara

The Pink Line is the Trek we made to Poon Hill (Up and back).

16 days were spent in Nepal after a miscalculation. We only wanted to stay 15 due to the lower VISA charge.

That said we had a great time and fitted in various activities such as

* Whitewater Rafting
* Trekking to Poon Hill (3210m)
* Visiting Tibetan Refugee Camps
* Seeing the largest Buddhist Stupa in the world
* Many walking tours around Kathmandu and Bhaktapur

Our 16 days in spectacular Nepal came to an end and we made it out the country with lots of tales but no visa issues.

Nepal Highlights

Roads Not Taken

If we had had more time we would have gone down to Lumbini in the southern Terai. Chitwan is apparently very commercial now and it would have been the same as Kumily (in India) so we didnt miss much by not going.

    Loved reading your Nepal reflections, concise yet full of adventure. The mix of rafting, Poon Hill trekking, and Kathmandu explorations perfectly captures what makes Nepal unforgettable. I smiled at the visa-day miscalculation; many travelers learn that lesson the fun way. Stories like yours inspire others to experience Nepal authentically. At Trexmount Ventures, we share the same spirit, helping travelers craft seamless trekking and Himalayan journeys, including routes like Poon Hill and beyond. Readers planning their own Nepal adventure might find helpful insights at Trexmount Ventures.
